The problem with COVID is that even a person who has no symptoms can be infected and spread it to someone else and KILL them without even knowing. It's not all JUST about them. They need to take time to think of others. My wife has an auto-immune disease. She's had both original Pfizer shots, as well as the booster update. 

Her doctors really don't know how well this will help her, but they say something is better than nothing. Before she was vaccinated, they told her if she got it that she would DIE- PERIOD. Now we have the Delta variant - and it's worse. 

Help keep my my wife safe - get vaccinated and wear your %$&+@ mask in groups of people!!! She hasn't been out in 2 years, but she'd really like to.

I pray you wife stays safe.  I am one of the 22,000 in the Maderna trial that got the vaccine in August of 2020 and my wife is one of the 22,000 that got the placibo in August and the vaccine in Jan of 2021.  For me and my wife it is a 27 month trial.

I joke that I am getting some brown fur on my forehead since I was part of 4 clinical trials for prevention os kidney stones so this is the 5 time for me to be a "guinea pig" for medicine.

I think Lance is being foolish for not geting the vaccine and I do not believe he has not gotten booster vaccines as an adult.

Lance, Why don't you correct your original post and tell everyone you sent the false statement to and give them the correct information.

Biden's people -- cabinet, advisers, family --  meet surreptitiously and agree that he is not up to the task of being President and/or that the stress of the job could kill or incapacitate him. 

Recall that Biden had brain aneurisms in 1988. His peeps could convince him that the best path is to create a story that there is another aneurism that is life threatening and that, for the good of the nation, he has decided that a person with his health issue should no longer be President.  How honorable!

Kamala the Cackler would become President, and would prove ineffective. (Surprise!) Republicans win the mid-terms and block all the left wing legislation that hasn't already been rammed through by Democrats.

This editoral is for you.  I hope someone who refuses to wear a mask or refuses to get vaccinated reads this editorial.  Our hospitals are full, so full that paitents with life threatening, curable and treatable conditions have to wait to get a bed or an ICU.  One war hero died near Houston because of it. My brother in law is immune compromised like your wife, but for a different reason.  He is a transplant recipient.  He takes medications to dampen his immune system.  So far he has had the two doses, plus a booster and one more.  That is how much it took to get antibodies enough to fight off the virus.  He is in the John Hopkins study to track his antibody response. 

I am so sorry your wife must hide in her house due to the millions who refuse to get vaccinated.  I am not one of those people, in fact my whole family has had both shots.  We wear masks, even though we are vaccinated.  Who knows if we carry the virus?  I wear the mask to protect all those who are vulnerable, like your wife, Lisa. 

I hope someday we see more people respect science, stay informed and be more considerate of their fellows.  My hope to you and your wife Lisa.

Yes, Bloomfield took that fatal shot of heroin & died in his car in early 1981, over 40 years ago. His former bandmate as you know, Paul Butterfield, was opposed to heroin use, but due to peritonitis & surgeries, got hooked on it too and died at 44 in 1987 of an overdose. The needle and the damage done...........also I saw on a documentary that Elvis would get an injection of amphetamine before all his shows at the end - no wonder he was sweating like a pig - he'd be 86 today if alive so he's already been dead longer than his 42+ years of life.

What is the solution for vacinnations of those that don't want it for whatever reason?? Should we round up all the non  vacinnated and remand them to isolation camps much like we did the Japanese Americans in WWII??

I don't know the answer. But for the life of me I can't understand why ANYONE would refuse the vaccine. I point out Cole Beasley, a former Dallas Cowboy receiver and SMU alum, that refuses to be vacinnated and now could be a carrier or worse be infected himself and expose all of his Buffalo Bills teammates and coaches.

It's my understanding that those that have had the China virus have natural immunity via antibodies and shouldn't get the vaccine, especially since it was rushed to market due to the emergency, but perhaps more importantly because their immunity is superior to that of the vaccinated by several times, as has been re-confirmed recently on FNC (where else?) from more study results (science).

And it should all be individually determined between doctor & patient - if our increasing Marxism persists, get used to one size fits all in EVERYTHING! But yes, in general it's wise to get the vaccine. Thank you, DONALD!!!

My mother got the virus in January, the 6th.  She nearly died. She has had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. She could still get the Delta variant.   I could still get the virus or be a carrier and give it to someone, which is why I wear a mask in public places.  Delta Airlines is on the right track!  Charge them extra for insurance, and testing!

When they got out 340K+ British, French, etc, troops at Dunkirk in 1940, some in England were prone to act like it was a great victory, similar to some of the statements we've heard about this fiasco in Afghanistan. Churchill pointed out at the time that while it was a tremendous relief, it was no victory to be celebrated since it was such a disaster on the other side of the channel.

Plus of the reported 120K evacuated, only 6000 Americans, and we're getting a lot of the dregs of their society we don't want - that will be a disaster like it was in Europe as they are currently being imported into this country to add to the other major totally unrestricted, unvetted horde from the border - what strategists these Dems are, but not for thee and me! If there were 120K minus 6K equals 114K Afghanis, if they were all interpreters, other helpers, even if they're not educated, OK they deserve to be here, even Afghani soldiers that tried to fight. But on that one FNC segment, a soldier that seemed to know said that 80-90% of the Afghani soldiers were totally worthless (within seconds in the video showing their failure to execute simple calisthenics instructions, you could tell those people were no soldiers or even really trainable at all; so anybody over the years that said they would fight is either clueless or lying or both (like Joe)) so we don't want the great majority of them - they didn't fight for their country and they're worthless to boot, pun intended.

The mRNA technology used by Pfizer and Maderna has been in development for over 10 years.  Due to the urgency they were approved after over 40,000 patients were given the vaccines and after 5 months there were few side affect and they were over 95% effective.  Now they have 1 year of study with few side affeccts and still 80% effective after 8 months. The first large scale trial with 44,000 people getting the vaccine started in July of 2020.  The vaccine does not include any DNA so cannot cause the person getting Covid.

Older technologies use a killed virus in the vaccine.

Of the patients in ICU with Covid over 90% are unvaccanated.  Most of the vaccinated patients going into ICU have other autoimunity problems.

Last Sunday the Dallas Morning News had and article about the vaccines and what they do and do not do.
