Welcome to the Richardson High School Message Forum.
The Message Forum is an ongoing dialogue among classmates. The goal is to encourage friendly interaction, including interaction among classmates who really didn't know each other. Experience on the site has revealed that certain topics tend to cause friction and hard feelings, especially politics and religion.
Although politics and religion are not completely off-limits, classmates are asked to be positive in their posts and not to be too repetitive or allow a dialog to degenerate into an argument.
Forums work when people participate - so don't be bashful! Click the "Post Response" button to add your entry to the forum.
I ate squirrel once in high school. I think "lean" is overrated. Give me marbling. If "lean" adds two months to my life, let me know when the two months start. I will fill those two months of menus with tasty marbled beef!
Here is something I found this morning on YouTube. A very nice little guitar solo played by the talented Colin Deibert who is playing on one of Aaron's Guitars.
Sandra ............. that young man is very talented...... and the guitar he's playing is a beautiful instrument.......... your son is quite talented ....... hope his business is doing well
Colin Deibert is a multi-talented musician! He plays lots of different instruments and sings quite well too. He has owned one of Aaron's guitars now for a couple of years. It is nice when one of his guitars lands with a player with so much potential. Aaron's business continues to grow and show great promise. He is finishing four guitars right now (binding two yesterday and two today). Next week he will start the long French polishing sessions for these guitars. Here is another of Colin's videos. This one is completely different and shows off his many talents...
Feeling so tired, can't understand it
Just had a fortnight's sleep
I'm feeling so tired, I'm so distracted
Ain't touched a thing all week
I'm feeling drunk, juiced up and sloppy
Ain't touched a drink all night
I'm feeling hungry, can't see the reason
Just ate a horse meat pie
Yeah when you call my name
I salivate like a Pavlov dog
Yeah when you lay me out
My heart is beating louder than a big bass drum, alright
Yeah, you got to mix it child
You got to fix it must be love
It's a bitch, yeah
You got to mix it child
You got to fix it but love
It's a bitch, alright
Sometimes I'm sexy, move like a stud
Like kicking the stall all night
Sometimes I'm so shy, got to be worked on
Don't have no bark or bite, alright
Yeah when you call my name
I salivate like a Pavlov dog
Yeah when you lay me out
My heart is bumpin' louder than a big bass drum, alright
I said hey, yeah I feel alright now
Got to be a

Once in a lifetime opportunity...IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED…A friend of mine has two tickets for the 2020 Super Bowl, both box seats. He paid $11,500 each.
It comes with a ride to and from the airport, lunch, dinner, and a $400 bar tab. Also, a back stage pass to the winners locker room.
He didn’t realize last year when he bought them, it was going to be the same day as his wedding.
If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place…. It’s at St Paul’s church in Orlando at 3pm. Her name is Ashley. She’s 5’4”, about 115 lbs, and a good cook too. She loves to fish and hunt. She’ll be the one in the white dress.
(Yeah, I know it's an oldie, but it still makes me smile.)
Decided at the last minute this evening to go to a Plano High School production of Chicago. They did a great job. Both the Velma and Roxie actresses were were excellent, and the Velma actress was especially good, both singing and dancing. They sang a fabulous duet.
Take a chance on high school productions. Sometimes they're really enjoyable.
I find myself in the bedroom. I get the chocolate variety pack off the shelf. According to my diet plan I eat milk chocolate from eleven to midnight. After midnight I only have dark chocolate which is supposedly good for you. When I finally get to sleep after the sugar high, I sleep like a baby.
David,
Do they let you go to the vending machines for a chocolate bar at intermission?
They did encourage people to go to the lobby during intermission to buy goodies, but they don't allow the goodies to go into the theater. I didn't want to stand in line and then have to slam down a drink and munchies in 20 seconds to make it to the second act. So, I stayed in the theater. It was all I could do to keep from scolding one girl who brought a Coke into the theater.
It was fun to observe the high schoolers in the audience before the show and during intermission. Brought back memories.
David, my son's class did Little Shop of Horrors. It was hysterical. He played the trap set in the small combo they had. He became college friends with a lot of the players at SFA and they are still in touch a lot.
His Jersey Village High class was about 900.
They had a reunion in 2018. I encouraged him to go and finally he relented and drove up to the site at Lake Conroe.
I asked him how it was and he said there were only about 20-25 people there. I don't get it. With all their social media and such, no RHS like memory desire? Oh well.
Noting your post about attending the musical Chicago at Plano Senior High School, I thought I would suggest signing up for a program offered through Plano ISD. It's for individuals 65 and over and allows you to attend a number of different school activities for free: sporting events, fine art events, and a bunch of others. You can sign up online if you Google Plano ISD/RSVP (RSVP = Retired Seniors Valued in Plano). You don't have to be retired. I spied a FFA program I wanted to attend, but wasnt able to.
