Message Forum

Welcome to the Richardson High School Message Forum.

The Message Forum is an ongoing dialogue among classmates. The goal is to encourage friendly interaction, including interaction among classmates who really didn't know each other. Experience on the site has revealed that certain topics tend to cause friction and hard feelings, especially politics and religion.

Although politics and religion are not completely off-limits, classmates are asked to be positive in their posts and not to be too repetitive or allow a dialog to degenerate into an argument.

Forums work when people participate - so don't be bashful! Click the "Post Response" button to add your entry to the forum.

Steve,

I am going to deactivate the prayer list link later today since it might cause some confusion in its current state.

Tommy,

Thanks for your input. I will make sure that we don't post a prayer on your behalf.

By the way, I re-read your earlier post. It doesn't read like someone playing along with a joke. Further, you should have known that a suggestion from Steve about prayer is not intended as a joke. Prayer lists are not a joke to religious people. But, given your previous comments about religion, I quote a punchline from an old joke: "You no play-a da game, you no make-a da rules."

I can readily understand why you would want to boycott this site when a prayer list is initiated, or even sooner.

Question:

If a guy prefers blond-haired blue-eyed girls, is he a racist?

Steve, Davic C.

I support the prayer list.  I would suggest that there be a instruction to keep the request with minamal information.

Could be "recovery from surgery", "illness", "death of family member".

Also have a time limit for a post being up. Say 2 weeks without being updated.

Lance said, "David, Although you may flatter yourself while falsely elevating your spiritual visibility as the Forum Prayer Manager, you may want to consult Martha to see if she is comfortable exposing your net worth to such a foolish venture."

David responds, "Lance, Will you ever tire of making snarky insults about me and this website on this website? I do not seek to elevate my spiritual visibility. Perhaps your opinion is warped by your own sense of spiritual superiority. The prayer list is Steve's idea, and Steve will have ample input regarding the final format. However, I have the keys to the website. It is obvious that I could easily add people to the list as long as standards are met."

Tommy and Lance,

I will do my best to insure that privacy is not violated. If you have productive ideas of how to improve the Prayer List concept, feel free to share. If your only input is not to have a prayer list, be advised that that ship has sailed.

In a broader sense, I must say that the quality of my life is not improved by your presence. There are people who add to my enjoyment of life, and people who drag it down. Both of you belong in the latter category, and you seem to revel in it.

As I have said repeatedly, you already have another website outlet for your thoughts and opinions. Why do you insist on using this website to try to force your will? In case you haven't figured it out, I am unlikely to bend to your bullying. You are free, of course, to trash me at will on Tommy's site.

Janalu is not qualified as Prayer Leader, as God Almighty knows well.

She thinks the Prayer List will be a useful addition to our forum, and  may occasionally be viewed by those who are inclined to prayer.  Most of the time it will be little noticed, therefore I see no reason for all of the back-and-forth between youz guys!

Hush!

Let it be.

David is correct in saying the buck stops with him.  Is that too difficult a concept for the rest of youz to comprehend with all of the wisdom youz nuckleheads reportedly possess?

Tommy,

You did indeed very wisely say that, but then the discussion continued.

You watch these discussions very closely, don't you?

Again, you are wise.

Bedwell,

Did you see the statement made by the racist Rutgers professor about caucasion people?

You would think that a woman of her stature would have more sense, wouldn't you?

10/25/21 04:39 PM #22709

Jim Bedwell

Janalu,

I thought I had warned you privately about EVER using the word "stature" around me, but how tall is she?

But no I missed that occasion of cacophony re Caucasianism from her. I can only imagine from her "reimagining" mind..........

Thanks for sharing, Lance. I will let you know when I decide to substitute your judgment for mine, but don't hold your breath. On second thought, hold your breath.

I missed this part. The half million $ that Biden is having the Department of Homeland Security (TAXPAYER MONEY) spend for security at his vacation home, is building A WALL around the property!!! HEY, STUPID, HOW ABOUT OUR WALL? Not for we, just for thee. Oh, I forgot, I'm not a citizen anymore; I'm a subject (to be subjected).

Here's an article I read about Ms. Brittney Cooper, a professor at Rutgers and a lady who looks like she could be Stacey Abrams sister.

"Take these mother[bleepers] out": Black prof erupts on white people    - by Joe Kovacs

During a speech defending Critical Race Theory in schools, a Rutgers University professor unleashed an  unnerving attack on white Americans, saying they needed to be "take out."

Brittney Cooper, an associate professor of women's and gender studies and Africana studies, said "The thing I want to say to you is....We gotta take these mother****ers out," but like, we can't say that, right?  I don't believe in a project of violence, I truly don't, because "our souls suffer from that,"

Campus Reform reported the Sept. 21st talk by Cooper discussed the rising cost of living for white people, saying "white people's birth rates are going down....because they literally cannot afford to put their children, newer generations, into the middle class...It's super perverse, and also they kind of deserve it."

She also told writer Michael Harriot, "I think that white people are committed to being villains in the aggregate."

Meanwhile, Cooper voiced plenty of support for Critical Race Theory, explaining she asks college students if "we can legislate racism away and we can march it away....or, do we think white people just always gonna be like this, and our job is to hold back their ability to do the most harm?"

Cooper believes conservatives oppose CRT because they oppose truth.

Campus Reform indicated Cooper began teaching at Rutgers in 2012, and has been paid a six-figure salary since 2018.

Cooper previously made headlines for linking black, female obesity to President Donald Trump's policies and claiming the religious right worships a fictional a**hole God.

In April 2020, amid COVID-19 lockdowns across the US, Cooper claimed the push to reopen America was about killing black people, and that every Trump supporter is to blame for the coronavirus pandemic.

"I feel like most Black people are clear that this utterly absurd push to re-open the country is all about a gross necropolitical calculation that it is Black people who are dying disproportionately from COVID," Cooper wrote on Twitter.

"Not only do white conservatives not care about Black life, but my most cynical negative read of the white supremacists among them is that they welcome this massive winnowing of Black folks in order to slow demographic shifts and shore up policical power."

(I wonder if she is aware that of all the thousands of abortions performed in the United States, a high percentage of them are abortions sought out by Black women choosing to rid themselves of their babies.)

(I also wonder if it would be a good idea to offer passage to Black folks who genuinely seem to dislike and distrust White Americans, possibly Hispanic Americans too.....free passage to Liberia Africa, so that they can live in a country where they are among their own people; a place where they will be unemcumbered by White people.  Does anyone think that option should be offered to Black citizens here, just as it was offered to Blacks back in the mid 1800's?)

Tommy,

I'd like to smite you just to spite you for your concern for most.

With no compassion you tend to fashion good deeds of which to boast.

Here's a little dity of what we think of you.

May your eyes glisten as you listen to this rendition so true.

Astros in six n

I know he views this site every once in a while.   I wanted to know what Russ Stovall thinks about the throw out by Martin (Machette) Maldonado in the ALCS game against Boston.   Quite a throw.

Look for big things from both Gurriel and Tucker for the Astros.

Two predictions.

I was reading about Ted Turner.   He bought the Atlanta Braves so he would have an anchor show to broadcast on his new cable channel, TBS, back in the 70's for his just purchased UHF channel.  Cable exploded nationally...he got very lucky.

Just heard on Tucker that reporter Miranda Devine was not allowed into Hunter Biden's art show/sale in Manhattan. She did point out that instead of shelling out 500K for one of Hunter's "masterpieces" you could take a taxi and pick up a SIGNED Picasso lithograph for only 400K. Tucker ended the segment commenting on Hunter's Midas oops I mean Miden oops I mean Biden touch and wondered how long it would be before Hunter comes up with a new vaccine that will be mandatory.

This is a serious project/product proposal. I'm not full of myself enough to say this is the next BIG thing, but I do believe it has serious possibilities.

I need either:
1. An electronics engineer who can also, working with me, can get a patent for the product
or
2. I need someone who is very familiar with the way to get a patent and procure said patent.

Plus either way, I will also need a lawyer to write us up an iron-clad NDA for the project we'll be doing together.

We'll need a name for the branding of the product that will stick in everyone's mind such as 'Coke' or 'Kleenex'

Does anyone know anyone who is trustworthy enough to work with me honestly with this project and can refer them to me, if it's not one of you guys (our hopefully trusted classmates)?

I hate to say this, but from what I've seen of modern "art" the last decades, actually some of Hunter's stuff I saw wasn't that bad by comparison! I do love all the colors of the rainbow that he uses - diversity?

Sure beats all those $5 items that Steve Keene was trying to sell that I posted 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Here is the Dimmit's flag flown at Goliad during the Texas Revolution.  The meaning is " I would rather cut off my right arm than live under tyranny"

Might be suitable today.

Tommy,

I just heard that Hunter Biden is looking for a few good javelin catchers and thought you might want the job.
