Welcome to the Richardson High School Message Forum.

The Message Forum is an ongoing dialogue among classmates. The goal is to encourage friendly interaction, including interaction among classmates who really didn't know each other. Experience on the site has revealed that certain topics tend to cause friction and hard feelings, especially politics and religion.

Although politics and religion are not completely off-limits, classmates are asked to be positive in their posts and not to be too repetitive or allow a dialog to degenerate into an argument.

Forums work when people participate - so don't be bashful! Click the "Post Response" button to add your entry to the forum.

Pete may or may not be doing a good job in DC.   I don't know.   But, by past standards of highering political friends and appointments, he certainly is a lot more qualified than most...both parties included.

Lowell,

So what has gay Pete ever accomplished other than getting elected? Like Obama, Biden, most Dems, NOTHING! Advanced degrees from prestigious universities often mean nothing today. Dr. Jill Biden? Anybody who would be with him is certainly suspect in so many ways; I bet I could find MAJOR deficiencies in her if allowed the opportunity.

Jim, excuse me for speaking  out on the excellence in political viewpoints forum.   Next time you have a candidate who is up to your standards, be sure to have them speak and be supported on the Fox News channel so all of good America will have a full inkling of their existence.   I'm sure they will get noticed by the masses that way.

Lowell,

We had one of the best Presidents ever and people like you threw him away. You looked at superficiality like rude behavior & mean tweats and couldn't see the good in Trump's heart nor the good he was doing for the country. Can you NOT see the rotten places the Dems are now taking us? Are you that (TOTALLY) blind now? Pathetic.......

In order to find out the accomplishments of someone you have to research it.;  I am sure you can find some report by a homophobic nutbag who will disparage his career.  Start with the past 10 years of Fox analysts

All it takes to be a politician in this country is popular support.   I rest my case with the former son of a Macleod in charge.

What do cabinet secretaries do, anyway?   Advise the Pres.  Diversilty in a Cabinet is a good thing.

10/15/21 03:42 PM #22530

Jim Bedwell

Lowell,

Have you EVER watched FNC? It is full of facts, empiricism, insight, history & morality. I NEVER watch the corrupt legacy media since those are ALL so lacking. How often do the corrupt outlets you rely on play back old clips of conservatives' saying exactly what Dems say or think now, but what the conservatives are saying on there is exactly the opposite of what the exact same right-wingers are saying now? You see that ALL the time on FNC, of hypocritical Dems' saying one thing one time and the opposite another time, ALWAYS based on political expediency. I've seen it from ALL of them - Pelosi, Schumer, Obama, Biden, Pete, you name it. WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Truly evil people.

I will now admit to my ignorance. I don't know what "former son of a Macleod" means.

And your "Diversilty in a Cabinet" was an unintended hilarity, I'm thinking. Chief Steve of Punography would be proud of that "Diversilty". Diversity is what gets us airheads like Kamala, Pete, etc. That's what happens when you value superficialities like skin color (Dr. MLK Jr. didn't do that - duh), sexuality, etc. over merit or accomplishment. You get a Cabinet/administration of lightweight incompetents like we have now.

Tommy,

Did you never hear of the time Soros took down the currency of Great Britain with his scheming and made TONS of $$$ on that? That alone should give ANYBODY pause about that EVIL man's motives. DuckDuckGo it.

And I'll say it again. Here's Luke 6:43-45 (NKJV):

“For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil......."

A lot of $oro$ money is funding efforts to get these radical Marxist prosecutors installed everywhere to get all the criminals out of the prisons and keep them out preying on the rest of us. It's all part of the effort to take down the country that apparently only the top elites of the left are aware of, given the statements of their dupes (like you) here on this forum. So you be the judge, is all this defund the police and get rid of all borders and prisons a good thing? Is that a good tree or bad tree?

Janalu Jeanes (Parchman)

Tommy,

I've been following George Soros' history for about 17 years or probably more.  If you are not a follower of conservative news, and I know that you are not, as you prefer, from what I gather, to listen to what I and many folks call, "The Mainstream Press," you will not understand what all the fuss is about, most likely.  Soros is a man who the Democrats and the far-leftists, like B. Sanders and Hillary, adore, because he gives them zillions of dollars for whatever they wish.  He is "in bed" with them, so you will not hear him talked about on "The Mainstream Media's many outlets and the liberal magazines will not mention him unfavorably.

I used to watch Glenn Beck every afternoon on FoxNews where he had an uplifting and dynamic program, not only about conservative subjects and news, but on how Chrstianity was faring in the world, plus other Conservative subjects I found very informative.  But as time went on, Glenn Beck began to research, along with his very able staff, all about George Soros, a man who was MANIPULATING all manner of governments in our world, and was manipulating peoples of our world, that HE (SOROS) FOUND TO BE LESS THAN WHAT HE WISHED THEM TO BE, according to HIS VISION of a Globalist Society.  He envisioned, if you will, himself to be GOD-LIKE and with his billions; he began to push "things" around in big ways, in order to manipulate our world to become his vision of what he desired!  ONE MAN!   ONE MAN WHO THINKS HE IS GOd!   One man who has SO much money that he can PUSH PEOPLE and he can cause governments to be undone or even totally destroyed, essentially.  WHO DOES THIS GUY THINK HE IS?  Well we know!!  He thinks he is essentially GOD although he is actually an atheist.  His Jewish family, from Hungary originally, was a non-practicing Jewish family, who pretended to be a Christian family when the Nazis began to invade Hungary during WWII.  George even lived with a Christian family during that time, pretending to be their son.  Why that family allowed him to do that, I don't know---but I suspect that the Soros family played a rouse on them, knowing that they were generous, upstanding people.  After the war, Soros moved to London and went to the same economics school that Mick Jagger went to.  He became very good in economics, and he made lots of money.

Anyway, George Soros has pushed his money all over the world in places that he decided to change, and He has been doing it for his whole life, so he has had a profound influence on people who don't even understand what is happening to them.  He enjoys manipulating poor populations and undereducated populations in very HUGE ways!  It is, in my opinion. and the opinions of many other people, a VERY UNFAIR BIT OF MANIPULATION!!

By the way,  Soros managed to get Glenn Beck evicted from FoxNews, simply because he (Soros) didn't like the way that Beck was exposing "the Soros ways around our world."   Soros began attacking the sponsors of FoxNews lying to those sponsors about how many people were going to stop buying their products.  The method that Soros used to do that--I could explain it to you, but it would take up too much time here.  You can google the subject if you wish.  The subject heading could beL  Whoat method did Soros use to get Beck kicked off of Fox----or something similar.  I'm sure you can find the info, or you can write to Beck's headquarters in Dallas, to ask them to tell you.  I KNOW that they will do so without hesitation.  Beckk is a good, decent, conservative Christian family man who lives in  the Dallas area, near Southlake.

Here are a couple of things you can look at from YouTube that I saw today;

YouTube; Geo. Soros, The Democrat Party & Hillary C.

YouTube; Gravitas Plus: Does G. Soros Manipulate the Global Order

Now when looking at YouTube, you will also find info from the far-leftist spinners, of course.  They will tell you the same info you told me in your post, i.e.,  G. Soros has the Open Society Foundation which he uses to fund so many wonderful causes, and he is a wonderful, philanthropic guy(!)----well, it is true that he does fund some noble causes, but the reason he does that, is because it is his way of hiding behind those actions.  He actually has MANY organizations, sort of like satellite organiztions or even shell companies, which he uses to manipulate mass amoounts of money and influence.  Check them all out!   This info that I just stated, was one of the facts that G. Beck uncovered and exposed on his (Beck's) Fox program, and it was probably the main factor that ended up getting Beck eliminated from Fox.  Fox took a big hit from sponsors that advertised on Fox, so Fox decided that Soros would be the winner of the conflict.  Soros, I'm sure, was laughing all the way to one of his banks, after hearing that Beck was thrown off of FoxNews!

I can tell you more, Tommy, if you wish.  But you can google all of what I've told you.  It is not a secret.  The info is "out there," although you won't find the info on Democratically controlled media, I can guarantee you of that.

Jim.  I ask you to display a list of federal prosecutors who have an allegiance or membership in the Communist Party in the United States.   Of course, you can't.  Yet your theatrical manefestations of such run rampant like some charged insurectional madmind.

How can anyone not watch Fox News Chanel.   It's on in every sportsbar in Houston.   I'll bet it's even on in the lobby of the Houston Communist Party's Office Lobby...Oh.   There isn't one.

I try to keep my food down when watching the Daily News and the Fox News Chanel doesn't lend itself to that.

I prefer to get out my rah rah cheerleading geer and whoop it up for Bill Maher, Rachel Madow, and Last Week Tonight's John Oliver....or in my car listening to NPR or Pacifica's Amy Goodman on Democracy now...or at my laptop reading the Houston Chronicle.

Sorry if they are too left leaning for you..

Trump's mother was an immigrant (legal or illegal?  can't remember) from the Macleod clan.

I dare say that David will probably cut this type of conversation off eventually as too partisan for a High School Class Web page.   And I agree....It's just a shame that he didn't do it for just when the right wingers were chimin all conservative.   It just takes a few genuine alternative viewpoints to show that the drivel the runs unchecked and rampant here has an affect of the users of the forum.

I give conservatives the upper hand on most issues here in Texas at about 55 45.   On this forum, due to it's members evolutionary history, it's probably 70 30.   But still unwarranted and unchecked right wing drivel (as accurate and witty as I am sure you guys think it is,) ought to go somewhere else.

Tell stories of your high school days and what you've done with lives since.  Snide slippage of political commentary ought to run itself elsewhere.   Viewpoints here are unchanged.

Worth repeating: definition of heaven & hell:

Heaven is where the police are British, the cooks are French, the
mechanics German, the lovers Italian and it's all organised by the
Swiss. Hell is where the chefs are British, the mechanics French, the
lover's Swiss, the police German and it's all organised by the Italians.

But speaking of diversity, I don't care if:

All NBA players are black.

All gardeners have Hispanic surnames.

All economists are Jewish (Milton Friedman school only - no deviants like Paul Krugman allowed)

All brain-surgeons are black (and named Carson).

All my future female acquaintances are ex-Playmates of the Month.

All air traffic controllers are non-black.

There are never any female Presidents in the short time we may have left.

I DON'T CARE!!! AS LONG AS THEY'RE THE BEST at what they do.

Lowell,

I guess you shouldn't have started it with your TOTALLY UNTRUE DRIVEL about how Janalu doesn't know what she's talking about. That REALLY irritated me, especially since it's so true of YOU, politically speaking.

And that business of how many prosecutors are publically avowed Commies? More waste of time, as is EVERY minute ANY person listens to the corrupt media thinking there's something of value there. Go read "American Marxism" by Mark Levin if you REALLY want to know what's going on today.

Actually that's not fair. Bill Maher sometimes comes up with stuff that's RIGHT ON!!! But only when he's agreeing with what the right is saying. duh. He's one of the very few that even that could be said about.

Finally you on the left should really be more careful like when you were saying "homophobic" about some right-wingers' opinions. That really detracts from any credibility you may have. I have more than 1 gay person in my extended family and I'm on good relations with those folks I love. Of course I'm a Christian so you must know what I believe about their sexual behavior, but that doesn't make me "homophobic". I hate the sin, not the sinner, although since Pete is in a position of power, I have every right to despise his behavior, and I'm talking professional behavior. And I don't like his personal behavior either, but that's really not my business, is it? I do LOVE Tammy Bruce of FNC and she's gay although I think she might be bisexual.

As the Bible teaches wisely, we're just the pawns of the forces of good & evil, so we shouldn't hate each other:

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:12 NIV)

Janalu Jeanes (Parchman)

Hey Lowell!

This "drivel" came out of last night's news, when I looked at WND, a conservative, but very factual, website.

This article:

Are All Biden's Actions Explained By The Cloward-Piven Strategy?   by Joseph Farah

We haven't been hearing possible explanations for Joe Biden's actions over the last nine months other than stupidity, a cognitive disorder, misguided thinking, or even insanity.

But is it possible that he's being guided by some close to him who are following a scheme much more aligned----the Cloward-Piven Strategy?

What is it?

The Cloward-Piven Strategy was a political tactic devised in 1966 by progressive academics, Richard Cloward and Frances Piven, that called for overloading the US public welfare system to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a national system of "a guaranteed annual income" and thus an end to poverty.  In other words, it was an attack on the free-enterprise system to destroy the system, replacing it with a socialist utopia.

What does that have to do with what Biden is up to?  I'm not under illusions that Biden is calling the shots---but his handlers are allowing all this chaos including open borders, which even Obama concedes is "unsustainable," Afghanistan, the supply-chain disaster, the mandate craze with its firings, inflation and more.

The Cloward-Piven Strategy has been adopted as part of mainstream leftist ideology.  It's the Rosetta stone for understanding what progressives do and why they do it.  It seems to make no sense on the surface to non-leftist ideologues.  It seems like irrationality, stupidity or even insanity.  But it's pure evil from the pit of hell.

I fear it comes from the evil nature of those who plan to finish the job of fundamentally transforming America.

Let's recall that the Obama administration, which included Biden, first set out to kill the flawed but successful health care system the world had ever known.  Obama lied repeatedly about what he was doing.  He misrepresented his intentions and his goals.  Once he got what he wanted and people could see it didn't work the way they thought it would work, he told them they just didn't understand.  He told them it was their imaginations that they were losing their health insurance, paying more for medical services and being denied treatment.

You see, in this example, if you followed the Cloward-Piven Strategy, your goal was never to provide better and more affordable health care.  It was to destroy the system and replace it with complete government control.

But the American health care system, like most institutions in America, was resilient in the face of even this frontal assault.

This was also the administration that lived by the credo: "Never let a crisis go to waste."

Understand that the "progressives" never say what they really mean.  They lie about what they're doing and why.

Never underestimate the evil motives of the cult euphemistically called "progressivism."  it's not about progress.  It's about regression: It's about making the state (read;"THEM") the ultimate arbiter of right and wrong.  We all know where that leads, though it's awfully hard to believe it's happening here again!

The No. 1 job of the federal government is, after all, protecting the safety and security of Americans!  It should also be the No. 2 and the No. 3 job----pretty much the only job of the federal govenment.

If it's not error, bad judgment, misguided thinking, irrationality, ideological and multicultural blindness or insanity that explains what Biden and the cabal of pseudo-scientists, ideologues and population-control activists are doing on the China virus front, what does?

I fear it is something much worse-----Cloward-Piven.

Will it bring America to its knees as it brought NYC in the 70's to its knees?  Only if we recognize it's intention---rather than the work just a goofball, senile president.

Tommy,

Here's what happened & Soros pocketed a billion:

https://theeconreview.com/2018/10/16/how-soros-broke-the-british-pound/

His money IS funding efforts to get prosecutors into positions as I stated. That's been reported repeatedly on FNC. And those fools are turning jails into revolving doors.

Janalu Jeanes (Parchman)

Tommy,

Okay Doubting Thomas, what was it that I told you about Glenn Beck's dismissal that was unimpressive to you?  I explained that Beck had a very good show or segment on Fox, and then was dismissed for untrue complaints that were caused by Soros' lies about Beck, but you decided that was a point unimportant to anyone in America, I guess.

Do you think that because he is a conservative, he is not worthy of bother or notice on your part?  Do you know that Beck sent 3 or 4 727 commercial jets from the US to Afghanistan just recently, when all of the "hurry up" efforts were going on, to rescue Americans and also those Afghanis who had helped Americans for many years?  Very good and faithful Afghani people who knew they would be killed if they were not allowed out?  Beck used his own money and money from his group of listeners. donations they gave for Christians who are degraded cruelly by many people in the Middle East.  I'm sure you have heard nothing about what he did, as the Mainstream Press considered him to be meddling in the affair that Biden wanted to keep as quiet as possible, when mayhem broke out.  There were also other guys similar to Beck who also were rescuing as many Americans as they could--as quietly as they could--since the State Department was on their tails trying to scuttle their attempts-----The State Dept. was hellbent to NOT let them succeed because it looked bad for the State D. and Biden----Beck and most of the guys were successful, and they are now writing books to be published soon----The public will soon learn of the truth....I realize that most of this story has not seen the light of day on all of the media TV stations you probably watch, but soon you will know that I'm not just making up stories.

Okay!  Here's a little story of Soros' meddling that might interest you.....

Soros' money was given to these inflamed groups (listed below) during the Ferguson MO fiasco, a few yrs. back, and the money he gave caused a combustible protest movement that transformed a one-day criminal event into a 24-hour-a-day NATIONAL cause celebre, as was written about in THE WASHINGTON TIMES.

The activist groups Soros funded are:

Advancement Project, The Dream Defenders, Missourians Organizing for Reform & Empowerment (the rebranded Missouri branch of ACORN)  Equal Justice USA, The Gamaliel Foundation,  The Organization for Black Struggle, PICO, the Samuel Dewitt Proctor Conference (where Reverend Jeremiah Wright was a trustee--remember him?)  The Drug Police Alliance, the Hands Up Coaltion, the SEIU, Pro-Palestinian organizations and others too numerous to mention now.

The plethora of organizations not only shared Mr. Soros' funding, but they fed off of each other, using buzzwords developed by one organization on each others' websites, creating a social media echo chamber similar to what Facebook does.  Soros caused a huge mess in our country that he shouldn't have gotten involved in.  He did it to throw his weight around and cause needless trouble between races, since he likes to do that kind of thing.  It is his goal to cause trouble and have our country be driven to racial divides.

I can give you more instances of Soros' harmful behavior if you wish.

I don't think you listened to the YouTube videos I told you about, did you?  Those videos, particularly the one that was narrated by the lady from India (I think she was speaking on Al Jazeera)  She had excellent info that you should go back and listen to, if you truly want to know of what Soros does around the world.  She has seen with her own eyes what his meddling can do to poor, uneducated people, and to people who don't have millions/billions of dollars to counteract the actions he uses to disrupt or negate their governmental functions.

David,

A hospital vacay?

Hope you are doing well and feeling good!

Sorry that Tommy manages to irk me to intense rhetoric and discussions of boring stuff for many folks who may complain that we should talk about old times, or what we observed when walking the dog.  I wish I had a dog, and actually, I may get one soon!  I really get a kick out of the little mutts!  And I'm getting calls from our animal shelter saying they need adopters and volunteers to help them out!

10/16/21 05:55 AM #22543

David Cordell

Janalu,

My hospitalization ain't no big thang!

Had knee replacement surgery yesterday. Two knee surgeries in high school got me by for 50 years, but bone-on-bone, no menisci,  a complete ACL tear and a tear in another knee ligament finally caught up with me. Pretty sure I'll go home today.

My wife's best friend from her youth (they were born three days apart in the same hospital in Bay City, Texas) lost her husband two days ago after a long hospitalization. By comparison, knee replacement is nothing in the grand scheme of things, and it changes things for the better eventually. Death, on the other hand, is permanent, notwithstanding life beyond this earth.

10/16/21 07:06 AM #22544

David Cordell

Tommy,

1) My comment about manipulation stands on its own, hence my use of "the end".

2) I am not inclined to be drawn into a discussion in which one party asks the other for specifics, with the expectation of defining the playing field and going on the offense.

3) I am not interested in any discussion of religion with you. If I recall correctly, some time ago, you indicated that you could be an Episcopalian. I regarded it as distasteful mockery -- irreverent in the truest sense of the word.

4) Note that when person A finds  person B's comments to  be "unfunny", it doesn't neessarily mean that A lacks a sense of humor. It may instead mean that B lacks empathy.  Example: Are race jokes funny? Yes. And no.

5) The Bible is not just "A" book. To a large percentage of people on this earth, it is "THE" book. Some take it literally, and some take it figuratively. Regardless, it represents a very large article of faith, and I haven't challenged someone's faith since I left the arrogance of youth behind. It is noteworthy that I would never challenge a Muslim on the Koran, or a Native American on his/her spirituality.

6) On the homefront, my life is in a good place. I have limited interest in popular psychology self-help  books and concepts unless they relate to golf or investments.

Janalu,

THANK YOU as always with your long post(s) about the evil George Soros. Just like FNC, you are perpetually full of truth, empiricism, insight, history & morality. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!

Plus you save me TONS of time responding to people like Tommy, who are as stubborn in their beliefs as our ostensible President is stubborn about EVERYTHING. Tommy may be even less likely to alter his future thinking than Lowell, who keeps bringing up that nobody's ever changing his opinion(s). I'm just so grateful that I had an open mind (after TEN years of being brainwashed) such that when I saw Jimmy Carter I (as opposed to Jimmy Carter II on Marxist steroids, which we have now), I knew with that fiasco of an administration, even though it took 2 or 3 years to effect that change, that I just had to alter my thinking.

David C,

It really is THE book. AMEN. The only book written by the Holy Spirit via about 40 different men.

Tommy,

Go read Isaiah 53, written about 750 B.C. all about the Alpha & Omega, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Lord Jesus Christ, His life, the day He died, etc. And the Holy Spirit (via Isaiah) wrote all this about events hundreds of years into their future, IN THE PAST TENSE.

The value of a prophet, among other things, is the accuracy of his prophecies. That's 1 of the reasons people like my ancestor, the false prophet Mohammed, should never be listened to, even if there is some truth in what they are saying (one of Satan's favorite tricks). Whereas the Way, the Truth & the Life (Jesus) should ALWAYS be listened to. Like when He said, "They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.". (John 16:2 NIV) The first part of that verse sounds like the government reaction to the pandemic. The second half.....hmmm.........does that sound like any group of people we're currently familiar with? like from another part of the world maybe where there's not much rain but a lot of fossil fuels?

All,

Chief Stephen No Stache had NO moustache, he told me, for the first time in 30+ years, when I saw him 8 days ago!!!! I told him I still wasn't going to kiss him, though, and you could just kinda see the life go out of him when I said that. I'm thinking that unfortunately that's why we haven't heard from him since. I do hope he's OK and I'm wrong about that...........
