Jack Christy served in the US Army from 1970-1973 and earned the rank of E-4 (SP-4). His basic training was at Fort Lewis, Washington, and he was in the 2nd Armored Division, which was founded by General George S. Patton, at Fort Hood, Texas. Jack served in the infantry in Viet Nam in 1971.
