What have you been up to since you graduated?

After retiring, we decided to move to Galveston! On our last day in Dallas, I was heading home to get Margret when I got the call from Baylor hospital telling me to come in ASAP to get blood work done because I might be a match for a kidney! Not 5 minutes go by and they call again and tell me I am the match and after the blood work in Dallas, I need to go to Baylor All Saints in Ft. Worth which is where the operation will take place. Having had some "mini" strokes slightly before and during surgery, I ended up staying in the hospital for almost 3 weeks. Recovery is slow, but I'm working on it.

Wish I participated in school activities instead of working so much.

Try out for sports and after school activities.

Don't be afraid to try. If you fail, try again.

What is your view of the future now versus your view in 1969?

1969, thought I could do anything.
2019, 50 years have gone and I don't know where it went.

I was so sorry to hear about Rick's passing. He was a friend all through high school and we kept in touch on Facebook. I will miss his great sense of humor and his true concern for others. We caught up with each other during the 50th reunion he always was a genuine friend, his passing will leave a large hole in a lot of people's lives.
