Meg attended Terrace Elementary and Richardson Junior High School before moving to New Zealand in the 8th grade. When she returned she was a year ahead of us, but we still consider her to be a member of our class.
I can see myself sitting in Margaret's house with another girl and Mrs. Jackson. This was in Jr. High. Summertime. Her mom was showing us her gorgeous Alexanderite ring. I remember looking at it as we all talked. I remember her mom and Margaret as kind, intelligent and easy to talk to. Of course life takes us in wildly different directions, but there are those people who even if you didn't go farther together as friends, you always remember them in a nice way. My heartfelt condolences to Margaret's dear family and friends.
