Ken Gideon

Ken Gideon - Obituary published in Dallas Morning News on Dec. 20, 2015

Every so often, the Lord takes a person that makes you wonder if the folks up there need someone to laugh with and shake things up. That certainly had to be the case on November 20th when Ken Gideon, a perfect and loving husband, father & friend, breathed his last breath on Earth. Ken lived his life just like he rode his Harley, full throttle but always careful to never harm or disrespect another human being. He never met a stranger and lit up a room with every entry. Maybe this is why he was such a successful salesman. We will forever remember your quick wit, honesty and strong character and most of all your laugh. Be at peace. We will miss you every minute of every day.

Love, your Family & Friends

So many years have passed so quickly....but I remember Ken. Looking at his photo brought back many fond mrmories of days gone by. I remember a very nice guy. Those things you just don't forget.

I'm wishing his family and friends some comfort and ease of grief as time passes.

God Bless....

Kenny was a great guy and I remember he was really fun-loving. On the way back north to Richardson from some RHS event sophomore year, he wanted to drive my parents' new 1966 Dodge Coronet 500, a hard-top coupe. He liked shifting the auto transmission with its 1, 2, D gears you could shift into (but why?). So he was driving on Greenville Avenue back to his house, BUT he was doing the shifting, driving too fast, and.........yep, a cop stopped us and he got a ticket! Oh well........it was fun, always rest in peace, Kenny!!
